DESCRIPTION:Download Flyer \nSign Up Sheet \nFormat: Five-round Swiss System. Time Control: G/25\, d5. Two sections: Open and U1600. Playing up allowed. Un-rated players can choose any section. \nCheck in and on-site Registration: 8:00am to 8:40am. \nRounds: 9:00\, 10:20\, 11:40\, 14:00\, and 15:20 \nEntry Fee: Early registration\, (received by March 26th) $10\, on-site $15. Bring cash or checks \nPrizes: Trophies for the top three players in each section. Keep a copy of the info you hand out to parents for 2 years. \nActivity Directors: Provide one copy to Parent/Guardian and retain one signed copy for two years. \n  \nThe University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) has implemented a Youth Activity Safety Policy to provide a safe environment for youths participating in Nebraska sponsored activities\, clinics or conferences. Our policy includes safe interaction guidelines as well as background and sex registry checks for Activity Workers. This policy will help to protect youth from potential misconduct incidents and provide a safe\, educational and enjoyable activity/program experience. \n  \nActivity Workers \n1. All Activity Workers must successfully pass a sex offender registry search for Nebraska and the state(s) they reside. \n2. All Activity Workers driving activity vehicles must successfully pass a Driving Record Check. \n3. In the case of an emergency or accident involving your youth\, Parents/Guardians will be notified\, following notification of the appropriate emergency personnel. \n4. All Nebraska activities will comply with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Youth Activities Safety Guidelines. \n5. As parent(s) or legal guardian(s) you give permission to this activity to use photos of your child in promotional media. \n  \nDisciplinary Action \n  \nThe Activity Directors of University-sponsored Youth Activities reserve the right to immediately dismiss any youth from the Youth Activity who is found to have violated behavioral expectations. Dismissed youth will be sent home at their expense and will be responsible for all other expenses associated with their dismissal. SUMMARY:UNO April 2022 Chess Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Download Flyer \nSign Up Sheet \nEntry Fee: $30 payable onsite from 8 am to 8:45. $10 entry fee for the U800 and U400 sections. The entry fee is waived if student or faculty at UNO. \nPre-Registration: Please email the organizer\, Steven Cusumano\, at scusumano90@gmail.com if you plan on attending this event. Having a pre-registration list is critical to us starting on time\, so please email ahead of time if you are sure that you will attend. \nSections/Round Times/Time Control: \n5 distinct sections: Open\, U1600\, U1200\, U800\, U400. \n· Open/U1600 – 40 minutes delay 5 seconds \no R1: 9am or shortly after registration \no R2: 10:45 \no Lunch Break \no R3: 1:30 \no R4: 3:15 \n· U1200 — 30 minutes delay 5 seconds \no R1: 9am or shortly after registration \no R2: 10:15 \no Lunch Break \no R3: 12:45 \no R4: 2:00 \n· U800/U400 \no 4 rounds \no Round times announced at the tournament. All rounds expected to be played before lunch \no Clocks are not necessary\, but please bring boards \n  \nAdditional Information: \nBoards and clocks must be provided by the players themselves. Scoresheets will be provided to the Open and U1600 sections. These sections must turn in a copy of their scoresheets. \nPrizes: \nPrizes increase as the number of participants increase.
