DESCRIPTION:Spring UNO Rapid & Blitz: \n  \nDate:             April 13th\, 2024 \nLocation:      CPACs Building\, University of Nebraska Omaha \nEntry Fee:    $30 payable onsite from 8:30 am to 9:00. $10 entry fee for the U800 and U400 sections. $25 / $8 for early entries on KingRegistration. The entry fee is waived if you are a student or faculty at UNO. \nPre-Registration:  https://www.kingregistration.com/event/UNO202404RapidBlitz. Early entry discount available until April 9th. \nPlease email unochess2700@gmail.com if you have any questions. \nSections/Round Times/Time Control: \nThe U1200\, U800\, and U400 sections will run as a normal UNO tournament. If your rating is above 1200\, you are encouraged to play in the rapid and blitz tournaments. \nSections: Rapid & Blitz\, U1200\, U800\, U400. \n\nRapid and Blitz\n\n6 Rounds of 10 minute plus 2 second increment rapid\nLunch Break\n6 double rounds of 3 minute plus 2 second increment blitz\n\n\nU1200 — 30 minutes delay 5 seconds\n\nR1: 9am or shortly after registration\nR2: 10:15\nLunch Break\nR3: 12:45\nR4: 2:00\n\n\nU800/U400\n\n4 or 5 rounds\nRound times announced at the tournament. Lunch break will be announced at the tournament.\nClocks are not necessary\, but please bring boards\n\n\n\nAdditional Information: \nBoards and clocks must be provided by the players themselves. Scoresheets will be available\, but it is not mandatory to use scoresheets for rapid and blitz time controls.  \nPrizes: \nPrizes increase as the number of participants increase.
