Great Plains Open: 5-SS. G90 + 30inc. November 12 – 13 at the Country Inn & Suites, 5353 North 27th Street, Lincoln, NE 68521.
Prizes: Based on 30 paid entries: 1st $350 (Guaranteed), 2nd $150, 3rd $100; U1800: 1st $125; U1600: 1st $125; U1400: 1st $100. Tie-breaks: 1) Modified Median, 2) Solkoff, 3) Cumulative.
Registration: 9 to 9:45 am, Saturday November 12. USCF October rating list used. Unrated eligible for U1400 prizes.
Entry Fee: $50 online advance entry (details below) or mailed entry post-marked by November 7th. $65 onsite—cash only. USCF membership required.
Rounds: Saturday 10 am, 2:30 pm & 7:30 pm, Sunday 10 am & 2:30 pm. Byes: Only one 1⁄2-point bye is allowed per player for the tournament. Byes for rounds 1—4 may be requested up to 30 minutes prior to round start time. Byes for round 5 must be requested during registration.
Equipment: Bring clocks, sets & boards.
Rated Beginners Open: 5-SS. G30 5d open to players U1200 & Unrated. Saturday, November 12th only.
Prizes: Trophies to 1st, 2nd & 3rd; U1000 1st, 2nd & 3rd; U800 1st, 2nd & 3rd; U600 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
Registration: 9:00 am – 10:15 am, Saturday, November 12th.
