POY Standings Tie-Break:

B Group:

  • 6 player round robin played alongside the closed championship
  • POY standings positions 3 through 8 will qualify for the “B” group

The winner of the B-group is eligible to use his plus score from the “B” group round robin tournament in the next POY cycle. The tie-breaks listed above will be used in the event of a tie.

Activity Rule:

Both the state champion and the B closed champion must play in at least 1 POY event in the next cycle in order to keep their reward for their victories, namely, the automatic-qualify spot in the next closed championship for the state champion & the plus score from the B closed tournament for the B closed champion.

A TD earns a +1 score for each tournament he directs subject to a 2 point maximum.
