Ying Tan was the surprise winner of the 2017 Nebraska Closed Championship. Held April 1&2 in Lincoln, Tan scored 4.0/5 to take first place – not a bad result for the lowest rated player in the field! Steve Cusumano finished clear second with a score of 3.5/5.
